FREE TO EVERYONE

The award-winning Conservation Centre is unique in presenting the work of museum conservators to the public.

Visitors can now discover how everything in the collection of National Museums of Liverpool is cared for, from fine art and sculptures to space suits and ancient archaelogical treasures, through interactive displays, demonstrations and live video links to conservators' studios. Studio tours can be booked on Wednesdays and Saturdays (small charge applies, ring for further details).

Road Directions

Easily accessible by car from M6, M56 and M58 (follow the signs to city centre).
M62 Jnct 4,Edge Lane is a straight run into the city centre. On entering the city please follow signs for Lime St train station. Turn left onto Roe St opposite Lime St Train Station. Public car parks nearby on Whitechapel (fee) and Victoria Street (fee).

The Conservation centre is located directly opposite Queens Square Bus Station, and 5 minutes walk from Lime Street Station, in Liverpool City Centre.
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is 10.8 from the city centre.
