Liverpool Museum re-opened as World Museum Liverpool in May 2005 combines historic treasures from across the globe with the latest interactive technology to make an unbeatable family day out. Our internationally important collections include archaeology, ethnology and the natural and physical sciences as well as Britain’s only free Planetarium. With everything from real live bugs to Egyptian mummies, prehistoric pottery to space exploration, as well as lots of hands-on fun, there’s something for everyone inside.
Located in Liverpool City Centre opposite the entrance to the Birkenhead tunnel, and only a 5 minute walk from the Liverpool Tourist Information Centre at Queens Square.
