The Roman Catholic Cathedral was designed by Sir Frederick Gibberd. The play of light through the stained glass around the 360 degree lantern tower sees the interior transformed into a cathedral of light and colour during daylight hours.

The Visitor Centre encompassing information centre, gift shop and Piazza cafe is open Monday-Saturday 10.00-17.00 Sunday 11.00-16.00
